I simply want to start today with a basic question.
Are you enjoying this newsletter at all? Anything you’d like me to change / add / remove?
That’s it — moving onto the news!

Reminder, our word of the day is typically a word that I’m reflecting on this day. There is no order to them, but many times it will relate to something in your life if you let it.
Word of the Day: ACCEPT
Accept is a powerful word. Sometimes in life, you just have to accept the reality of a situation, even if it isn’t the outcome you hoped for. Whether it’s a missed opportunity, a tough loss in a game, or a business decision that doesn’t go your way, acceptance is that first step to moving forward. By letting go of what can’t be changed, you’re making space for what can be improved.
It’s tempting to fight against everything you dislike—especially if you feel something is unfair or out of your control. But constant resistance drains energy and can lead to frustration. Instead, learn when it’s best to accept things as they are and pivot your focus toward something you can change. Often, this shift in perspective opens the door to new solutions you might’ve missed while struggling against the inevitable.
Finally, accepting doesn’t mean giving up on your goals. In fact, it’s often a shortcut to personal growth. When you accept reality—say a new technology is here to stay, or that a team member needs more time to develop—it frees you to adapt and find a better path forward. It’s about embracing change and using acceptance as a tool for growth, not a barrier.
What do you need to ACCEPT today?
Tonight we look at the total in the Utah / Golden State game. This total is too low at 228. Steph has been shooting poorly, do we really think that is going to continue? Look for him to put up big numbers tonight and this total to soar over.
PICK: Utah/GS Over 228
