Grow Your LinkedIn, NFL Championship Picks, Two Days of News
Happy Friday! This is the January 24, 2025 edition of the "Knup Letter".
First off, very sorry for the “missed day” with this newsletter. I had a goal to not miss a single day, but, that didn’t happen.
What do you do when you miss a goal? Sometimes, I have the habit of being an “all or nothing” kind of guy. The old me would say, “Welp, my streak is over. Time to give up.” And I’d just quit the newsletter.
But that’s not the right approach. So what, I missed a day. Who cares? Nobody cares — thats who! Time to jump back at it and start another streak of newsletters.
Why did I miss yesterday? Well the same excuse we all give for not getting stuff done, “I was busy”. I had the privilege of teaching week 2 of Sports Business to the LNPC Academy crew.
We talked about “Careers in Sports Business”. Was fascinating to me hearing all of the students goals and ambitions. We have a lot of future GM & Scout wannabees thats for sure.
Anyways, I’m still enjoying the teaching of that class. And like I mentioned in my early newsletters — I love repurposing content. So while I create my curriculum and slide show, I’m also putting it together as a course/community for later. In 14 weeks I should have a full blown “Sports Business 101” online course to give away or sell. LETS GO!
Ok, since we missed a day — we probably have double the news. Lets keep moving…
Below are the news stories and press releases you won’t want to miss across our four pillars.

Word of the Day: Proud
Be proud of what you do. Pride isn’t about arrogance—it’s about recognizing the effort, challenges, and accomplishments that got you here. I’m super proud of what we’ve accomplished at Coded Content over the last couple of years. Today, we’re at a pivotal moment: launching and scaling. That’s no small feat, and I’m taking a moment to appreciate the journey.
In life, entrepreneurship, and sports, pride serves as fuel. It gives you the confidence to take risks, the resilience to bounce back from failure, and the drive to push forward. Whether it’s finishing a project, building a business, or winning a game, pride helps you savor the moment and keep striving for more.
Take a second today to be proud of your wins—big or small. They’re proof of progress, and progress is what it’s all about. What’s something you’re proud of today?
We jump to the Sunday Championship NFL games for our double picks of the day today.
First, the Commanders are +6.5 at the Eagles. Most think Washington is going to keep this close, and they are probably right. I’ve just been WRONG WRONG WRONG all year on the Eagles. I guess I’ll side with the public here and take the Commanders +6.5 in this one.
Second, the game everyone has been waiting for all season long. Buffalo at the Chiefs. Chiefs are slight favorites (-1.5) in this one. I won’t bet against Patrick Mahomes to win in the playoffs until he proves me wrong. Taking the Chiefs ML just in case they win by 1 which is entirely possible here.
PICK: Commanders +6.5 and Chiefs ML
Good luck and enjoy the games.
